Quality Learning Environment

Founded in 1990, Matthew Flinders Anglican College has enjoyed rapid growth. From an enrolment of 161 in its first year, the school now delivers quality education to approximately 1200 girls and boys.

Situated on a 20 hectare site on the southern side of Buderim Mountain and only 2 kilometres from the centre of Buderim and the Sunshine Coast University, Matthew Flinders provides its students with some of the  most modern educational facilities in the region. Information technology is an integral part of the curriculum across all year levels, with Internet access available on the large number of computers located throughout the College. The modern buildings are light and well-ventilated, and blend in beautifully with our sub-tropical gardens. Drama and music facilities are air-conditioned and well-equipped. Outstanding sporting facilities,  including floodlit tennis courts and rugby field, an indoor sports centre and a 25m swimming pool allow participation in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities.
