Flinders Club Sports offer a wide range of sporting opportunities to our Sunshine Coast community.
OUR OBJECTIVE
To provide a wide range of sporting opportunities to students at Matthew Flinders Anglican College and also to young people in our local community by making sport accessible, enjoyable and challenging. We provide these outcomes in a supportive community to help participants develop their skills, character and networks.

ABOUT OUR CLUBS
There are five clubs across the sports of Football (Soccer), Hockey, Netball, Rugby and Cricket with more than 600 registered junior players competing in competitions throughout the Sunshine Coast.
Our Flinders Club Sports are not only for Flinders students but are open to all children in the local community.
SPORT LOCATIONS
Flinders Club Sports teams play at venues across the Sunshine Coast, including at home on our quality facilities at Matthew Flinders Anglican College in Buderim, at central venues or at various host locations across the region.
Some competitions expand as far as Caboolture in the south, Maleny in the west, and Gympie to the north.

Flinders Club Sports Volunteer Registration Form
Flinders Club Sports appreciates the willingness of our volunteers and is focused on developing and sustaining a connected and engaged community that shares a belief in the importance of our Flinders values and aspirations in education and physical education.
This online registration specifies the relevant WHS, Student Protection processes and our Community Code of Conduct that are for the safety of all engaged in the Flinders community.
Statement of Commitment
Flinders Club Sports supports the rights of all players or volunteers under 18 years of age and is committed to ensuring their safety, welfare and wellbeing. Flinders Club Sports is therefore committed to responding to allegations of player/volunteer harm resulting from the conduct or actions of any person including that of players, parents, volunteers or any other persons associated with the Club.
This commitment includes the provision of a safe and supportive living and learning environment for all players/volunteers and requires all volunteers, players and visitors associated with the Club to model and encourage behaviour that upholds the dignity and protection of under 18 years of age players and volunteers from harm.
In support of this commitment, Flinders Club Sports is dedicated to our Child and Youth Risk Management strategy which includes having relevant policies, procedures and training in place to effectively address the safety and wellbeing of under 18 years of age players and volunteers in our care.
