Year 5 students in Senior Primary at Matthew Flinders Anglican College are fortunate to experience the 2023 Design for Impact Summit.
Students are embracing the challenge to design a new world-class community from the ground up! Their mission is to imagine, design and prototype a future community for the Sunshine Coast.
The immersion experience will be presented for the fourth year running as a partnership with Queensland University of Technology Design Lab and experts in design.
Students will explore what it means for our Sunshine Coast region to be recognised by UNESCO as an international site of excellence, known as a biosphere, and how to design for responsible development.
