Flinders’ Principal Stuart Meade invites Flinders Primary parents and carers to the second event in the 2019 Flinders Speaker Series.
This event is hosted by Flinders as part of our ongoing Flinders Speaker Series to develop stronger partnerships between school, home and community as we learn healthy and positive ways to guide and support our young people to navigate life and reach their potential.
This event is presented by trusted child psychiatrist and parenting specialist, Dr Kaylene Henderson for parents and carers of children aged up to 12 years of age.
In this popular 90-minute seminar, you will learn:
- how to connect with your child to promote emotional resilience
- the different ways in which anxiety presents
- practical strategies to help your child tackle their anxiety
- when to seek professional assistance
