Matthew Flinders Anglican College invites you to the showing of Scattered Lives, a play brought to life by a large cast of our Senior School students from Years 10 to 12 as part of the Flinders Creative Arts Program.
Written by Australian author Sally McKenzie, Scattered Lives is a performance of true stories shared by refugees, who give an insight into the profound experience of what it is to seek refuge.
These are the stories of the thousands of people who seek refuge in Australia each year. They come from the woman you meet in the street, the man on the bus, the kid you sit next to at school. They come from Afghanistan, Austria, Bosnia, Chile, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Palestine, Sudan, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam and the Former Republic of Yugoslavia.
Performance Times:
Monday, 25 July at 7pm
Tuesday, 26 July at 7pm
Wednesday, 27 July at 7pm
Tickets are open to the public and available for $25 per person at https://www.trybooking.com/CAEXO
