The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by William Finn, a book by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman with additional material by Jay Reiss.
The show is all about a fictional spelling bee, set in a geographically-ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. A bunch of quirky kids compete in the spelling bee, which is run by equally quirky grown-ups.
This show is a part of our Flinders Creative Arts Co-Curricular program, involving students in our Secondary School. The show is directed by our Head of Creative Arts, Mr Danny Parker.
