The College is pleased to announce the recipients of the Flinders Sports Scholarships and the Principal's Scholarship (Sport) for 2022.
The students demonstrate outstanding talent and commitment to their chosen sport and other sporting interests, achieving at high representational levels, some across multiple sports.
The scholarship students may choose to apply for access to our Flinders Elite Athlete Program, which provides an inspiring and nurturing environment for elite athletes to learn the skills, strategies and mindset to achieve their personal best in their sporting and academic pursuits.
Please congratulate our current students and make the new scholarship students feel welcome once they join our College community next year.
Principal’s Scholarship (Sport) 2022:
- Kya Wills (cross country, athletics, swimming, surf lifesaving, AFL and touch football) (currently at Brightwater State School in Year 6)
Sports Scholarships 2022:
- Ryan Bambach (swimming, water polo and athletics), Matthew Flinders Anglican College (currently in Year 8)
- Serena Bond (surf lifesaving, cross country, swimming and netball), Matthew Flinders Anglican College (currently in Year 9)
- Chloe Johnstone (athletics, hockey, swimming and AFL), (currently at Mater Christi College in Year 7)
- Aaden Staskiewicz (water polo, swimming, soccer, AFL and volleyball), (currently at Immanuel Lutheran College in Year 10)
The next Flinders scholarship round will open in January 2022 for a 2023 entry to the College.
