Student choralists in the Matthew Flinders Anglican College Music Program received top awards at the 2021 Queensland Youth Music Awards, held in Brisbane on Friday, 21 May, 2021.
The Flinders Lumina Voices and the Chamber Voices performed admirably, and were wonderful ambassadors for the College.
Lumina Voices performed in the Intermediate Choir section. As well as receiving a Gold Award, they were also awarded Third place.
Chamber Voices performed in the Advanced Choir section and were also the recipients of a Gold Award. They then went on to be awarded First place as the winners of the Advanced Choir Section.
