In Year 10, English, Mathematics or Advanced Mathematics, Science or Advanced Science and Religious & Values Education are all compulsory for the full year. One Semester of Health & Physical Education and one of Humanities (chosen from the seven available) is also compulsory.
Depending on their chosen Science pathway, students then select a further three (3) or four (4) electives from the remaining twenty-one (21) available.
All electives are semester-length courses and are designed to be a preparatory experience of similar subjects offered in Year 11. There are no absolute prerequisites for courses in Years 11 and 12 although students intending to study a language other than English in Senior are encouraged to take that language at Year 10.
