Today, for the first time, student graduates across Queensland received their 2024 Year 12 final subject results two days before the release of their ATAR results on Friday, 13 December.
The graduating Year 12 students at Matthew Flinders Anglican on the Sunshine Coast achieved strong scores, including 16 students who secured an impressive straight-A score for every one of their subjects.
Of the Year 12 cohort, there were 9 students who achieved a commendable perfect score of 100% for a subject, including one student who achieved 100% across two subjects and one student who achieved 100% across three subjects.
Collectively, of all the subject results, half of them were an A-grade achievement.
The Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) results will be published on Friday, 13 December when Flinders will host its annual morning tea for its graduates to celebrate their hard-earned ATARs with their peers, teachers and the College leadership team.
Principal Ms Michelle Carroll congratulated all of the 2024 graduates of Matthew Flinders Anglican College for their positive approach to learning and growth.
“Our College community is delighted for all graduates as they now prepare for their tertiary offers with these outstanding results,” Ms Carroll said.
“The expertise and skill of the Flinders staff in supporting our students to explore their potential is inspiring,” she said.
“It is rewarding to see all students embrace the vast opportunities at Flinders for deep learning and classroom engagement to enable their agency and purpose as young adults.”
